Services RR

Basic and Applied Research

Our services broadly focus on the design, development, and implementation of research studies capable of address the specific basic and applied research question. Research questions may vary from understanding a particular phenomenon (e.g., what are targetable predictors of adolescent mental health) to developing and evaluating targeted interventions that tackle systemic issues (e.g., implementation of focus groups as a means of improving adolescents’ attitudes towards school resource officers). These services extend towards specification of research design, survey design, and statistical analysis.

Research Design

Development of specific research studies, whether addressing basic or applied concerns, includes the identification of sample and population and the specification of the most appropriate methodology (e.g., experimental, cross-sectional survey, longitudinal study, sequential design, planned missinginess, etc.). While we are familiar with the implementation of a wide variety of research methodology, as part of our services, we work with clients to determine what is the most appropriate and effective research design for addressing anyone particular research question. Our services also include the use of Power Analysis in other to determine the appropriate sample size for any particular study as well as the verification that any one particular study is appropriately powered to pick up the desired effect.

Survey Design & Data Collection

Our services also extend to the development and implementations of surveys, whether paper and pencil or online. This includes the identification of demographic questionnaires and theoretically valid measures best able to capture address the specific research question as well as the development of new measures and tools.

Statistical Analysis

Our services also include the statistical analysis of data, whether collected by us or not. Our statistical expertise ranges anywhere from simple correlation and ANOVA to structural equation modeling, latent growth curve modeling, and latent class analysis. Similar to the development and implementation of a research design, our services focus on analyzing the data in the most appropriate and effective for answering anyone particular research question.

Program Evaluation

Our Program evaluation services involve both quantitative and qualitative methods of social research. Which involves a systematic method for collecting, analyzing, and using information to answer questions about projects, policies and programs, particularly about their effectiveness and efficiency. In both the public and private sectors. Stakeholders often want to know whether the programs they are funding or implementing, to are producing the intended effect. how much the program costs per participant, how the program could be improved, whether the program is worthwhile, whether there are better alternatives, if there are unintended outcomes, and whether the program goals are appropriate and useful. RER evaluators help to answer these questions.

Program Development

RER’s Program development is an ongoing systematic process that we work collaborative with our clients in planning, implementation and evaluation of their programs. The process is not confined by time constraints or project size. RER will work with small startups to large scale government or for profit firms to design, evaluate and reengineer programs.  The scope may be different but the principles of program development remain the same. RER can assist companies in the following areas of Program Development

  • Develop Description of program
  • Define essential function of program
  • Define operational of program components
  • Develop evaluation tools to assess Program outcomes

Program Implementation

RER uses process analysis to look beyond the theory of what the program is supposed to do and instead evaluates how the program is being implemented. This evaluation determines whether the components identified as critical to the success of the program are being implemented. The evaluation determines whether target populations are being reached, people are receiving the intended services, staff are adequately qualified. Process evaluation is an ongoing process in which repeated measures may be used to evaluate whether the program is being implemented effectively. Since incorrect or ineffective implementation will produce the same results, it is essential that evaluation and assessment of the implementation process itself is standardized. Otherwise, a good innovative idea may be mistakenly characterized as ineffective, where in fact it simply had never been implemented as designed.

Community Engagement

RER will assists communities, organizations and individuals build ongoing, permanent relationships for the purpose of applying a collective vision for the benefit of a community. While community organizing involves the process of building a grassroots movement involving communities, RER’s community engagement strategy focuses primarily on the practice of moving communities toward change to a desired position.

Training Facilitator

RER’s training facilitators engage participants to become actively involve in the training process. RER’s are culturally and linguistically competent and remain “neutral” and non- judgmental during training facilitation. RER Training facilitators are well versed in designing Training modules that motivate participate to retain information received during training .

RER can help your agency:

  • Design and implement useful and affordable evaluations of programs and services.
  • Develop culturally appropriate assessment tools.
  • Use surveys, interviews, focus groups and other research methods to answer important questions.
  • Effectively manage special projects, programs, and services.
  • Engage the community and clients in planning services and interventions.
